Memorial Day

Going to Galco's for bottled sodas....... $60
Pop Rocks candy from Galco's and watching your kids try them for the first time..... $1

BBQ Dinner made by your dad $30
Playing 2 rounds of mini golf with your husband, dad, and 6 yr old at Scandia Family Fun Center and laughing hilariously at your horrible shots.......................... $20
Hot chocolate and ice cream sundaes at Denny's after...... $17
Making memories with your dad who served in the Vietnam and Gulf Wars:
To all those who have served our country, to all those serving our country now, to all those who have loved ones who have been injured or died serving our country......I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Nice post, Kathryn. I love that you paid tribute to your dad that way. I thank him and other Vets, too, for their great sacrifice on our behalf.

And just enjoying life out with your family on such a day is one of the best ways to honor our way of life here, in the greatest country on earth! :) Glad you had a wonderful time! (P.S. You made me want to go mini-golfing!)
