Aquarium of the Pacific

Okay so I'm a bit behind on blogging about this but better late that never. A couple of Saturdays ago after realizing we hadn't done anything but swim lessons this summer, I decided that we should take the girls to the Aquarium of the Pacific for the afternoon. Because my mom was set to start dialysis that upcoming week and not knowing how often she'll be up to trips like this with us, I called and invited mom and dad. Dad was at a baseball game with my sister and brother-in-law but mom jumped at the chance to come with us. Here is a pictorial story of our day:

Grandma Sunny, Laura and Katelyn getting ready for a fun filled afternoon in the aquarium

Laura got so excited over every fish she saw that day!

Katelyn had lots of fun too!

We saw eels

We saw fish

And we saw even bigger fish

And schools of fish

We saw the back of the girls...a lot

And the biggest lobsters that I think would taste delicious, haha!

And sea lions (this one had a foot fetish)

that balanced themselves on rocks under water!

We saw sharks

We saw a handsome sea lion named Miller

And we saw the jellyfish.

Then we made our waitress do this

or this

at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. where we ate dinner.
